This no-fee introductory session will lay the foundational groundwork for creating an authority and reputation white paper and use it as the source for promotional articles, blog posts, and social media blurbs. It will be the basics and yes, you will also be given the opportunity to participate in a much more in-depth training session for an affordable rate at a later date. But, please, don’t get the impression that this will be a pitch-fest because it won’t. You will walk away with a practical outline to implement this idea immediately.

A personal note: Frankly, I find the traditional Internet Marketing hype selling approach distasteful and insulting. If that’s what you need to be motivated, you might as well click away right now. We probably aren’t going to get along that well.

I love the idea of the Internet and the amazing leverage and power it offers but I pretty much rail against the vices of spammy, pushy approaches. Sure, I know that an argument can be made that people have hidden “triggers”, that you have to manipulate people for their own good, that they’ll thank you when you’re done. I find that all a bit tiring and certainly very tricky. I have talked to too many people who are sick of it too, and I feel there is a better way. I delight instead in both of us coming to the table as adults who have made a choice to share and grow together, no manipulation required.

I honestly don’t have the time, will, or energy to trick you with fancy sales technique to get you to make a choice that will benefit you. To put it as plainly as I can, I don’t consider myself to be a babysitter or magician. It’s your job to decide this is worthwhile. You can always contact me via Twitter or email with your questions before signing up or attending – I am available to you for that purpose.

I can’t wave a magic wand and fix your website or your business overnight and I don’t really believe anyone can. Honestly, though, do YOU? I doubt it, considering the feedback I’ve received from the dozens of people I’ve coached. They all say this is called work for a reason. There’s no reason our work can’t be fun, but it will take attention and effort, something I am betting you are more than willing to invest.

What I can do is give you some tools that you can apply to your business and your marketing right away.

I”m not a hard sell type, so you won’t get a constant pitch from me. You won’t get a flood of sales emails once you sign up. No, we’re going to wear our “big boy pants” for this session. I am going to remind you right before the session that it’s coming up, but otherwise, I will count on you to mark your calendar, manage your schedule, and show up on time. I am going to assume you are a serious, dedicated entrepreneur who values practical information (the session will be recorded, so if you can’t make the live event, that’s OK – you can listen later).

What I do think is that, equipped with the right information, inspiration, and encouragement, that you are capable of doing remarkable things – in business, in philanthropy, and in life. Yeah, I might be getting woo-woo about it, but I think business is a divine calling to service. And, I’m also realistic enough to know there is a heck of a lot of work to do here on this planet we call home and we are all better off if we can do more good in less time. That’s what this session should help you with – doing what you do best in less time, in better ways.
